Welcome to this week’s madness!

I have all sorts of exciting news to share with all of my supporters and friends from Catnose Comics artists, Stef Davis, Loki Kaspari and of course, yours truly. Sleep deprivation and cartoon sex magic art, angry Russians, rumors of a new webcomic, lost Polska, Sucka! pages, and enlightened kitties.

Poe In His Own Mini Comic! (Links are Web-PG and Web-14)

Aside from working on tomorrow’s space snail-infested episode of Killer Dyke, Loki just put the finishing touches on his fabulous mini-comic submission for Lutefisk Sushi D. It has a yellow cover and he’s absolutely proud of it. I also managed to create a colorful collectible comic card that I will also submit to LSD. Wish us luck getting in! Rasputin Barxotka 1986. (Links are Web-MA)

King Camello and Tsar continue to question each other in this week’s Rasputin Barxotka. Obviously, Camello is a bit uncomfortable with the Tsar’s revelation last week. Are the charges true, or is there more to the story than meets the eye?

On related news, Catnose Comics has signed Stef Davis on to illustrate the cover for the Rasputin Barxotka: Bahktale Vasquez Hates Camello trade paperback that’s due to come out this winter. If you can’t wait that long, look for Baktale Vasquez Hates Camello #3 full-color comic this summer. My pick of the week.

Alexvasdro, Vasexandro, Vale, Vale-jandro. (Links are Web-MA)

While working on recording the soundtrack for my Artery 2010 presentation and Rasputin Catamite, I worked myself into a rather bad case of insomnia. It was so bad, I reached the point of Vas-grade delirium. For those of you not in the know, the default state of my autistoschizophrenic brain when sober was once described by a psychiatrist as being on 500 micrograms of LDS. It takes a lot for me to reach the point of complete lunacy, but because of my severe sleep deprivation, I managed to do it. My mental suffering yielded some of the most interesting coloring work that I’ve done in a long time. The two episodes of RaspCat are just the beginning of my crazy head. There’s more to come next week. Let’s just say, cartoon Vas and Alexander “Sasha” Saatchyan will be having a merger of sorts.

Polska Sucka! – More Lost Epidoses (Links are Web-MA/Violence.)

I originally decided against putting the portion of Polska, Sucka! Issue #2 where executes Chaz in the mini-comic because of space. Also, I was still very squeamish about drawing graphic violence. That all changed after a few comic jams with the Minneapolis Cartoonist Conspiracy and the Internet. Without the constraint of space and queasiness at my own art to get in my way, I have finally rendered the scene, as it was meant to be presented. I am not entirely sure that’s a good thing, but as I’ve said before, my art is my psychological vomit. It can get pretty gross.
